Khowai, Aug 18, 2012 : In a tragic road mishap two labourers were killed and two more sustained critical injuries, when a loaded truck fell in a road side ditch at Kalabagan area under Champahawor police station under Khowai district on Saturday noon.
Police said, the accident happened when a passenger jeep tried to overtake the loaded truck in a curve at Kalabagn area.
As a result, the brick loaded truck fell in a road side ditch and four of its labourers who were seated on the top of the vehicle also fell under bricks.
Among the four labourers Ramlal Telenga(35) of Singicherra and Monu Chowhan(45) of Bihar died on the spot. Two more labourers Dulal Saha(40) of Jirania and Rajkumar Gour (35) were immediately rushed to a local hospital in critical conditions.
