Agartala, Aug 29, 2012 : In a minor reshuffle, eight senior police officers including IPS officers were transferred in various wings of Tripura police.
An official communiqué of police headquarters released on Wednesday said, IPS officer Gourab Chakraborty, incumbent SP of GRP, has been transferred and posted as AIGP (Personnel) in police headquarters and incumbent AIGP (personnel) Krishnendu Chakraborty transferred as principal of Police Training Academy at Narsingarh.
Arjun Debbarma (IPS), incumbent SP of South Tripura district, has been transferred as new commandant of TSR 7th battalion and present commandant of 7th battalion TSR, Shankar Debnath will now look after the charges of SP of South Tripura district.
TPS-Grade-I officer Bidhan Debbarma has been posted as new commandant of 13th battalion of TSR, Suresh Koloi will now look after the charges of 11th battalion of TSR.
Tapan Kumar Debnath, incumbent ASP of Police Control has been transferred as deputy commandant of TSR’s 12th battalion. Another TPS-Grade-I officer, Abhijit Choudhury has been transferred as Additional SP in police welfare wing at police headquarters.
