Agartala, Jul 12, 2012 : A youth of Ramnagar area of Agartala drowned to death in the Laxmi Narayan Bari temple lake on Thursday noon.
After the incident was reported police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot with professional swimmers.
Immediately, drowned youth was brought to the bank of the lake and shifted to G B hospital, where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
Later, drowned youth was identified as Swaroop Saha, a 19 year old youth from Ramnagar-4 area.
Police said that body of the deceased has been sent to GB hospital morgue for autopsy.
