Agartala, Jul 05, 2012 : The 7th All Tripura Open Mega Quiz, organized by northeast's premier news website tripurainfo.com, will be organized on August 5, 2012 ( Sunday) in the Agartala Town hall .
The Chief Minister Shri Manik Sarkar will inaugurate the programme.
Like previous years this year also first prize will be two Laptops and cash amount of Rs 10,000 ( for the pair), second prize will be two Desktop Computers and cash amount of Rs 8,000 ( for the pair) and third prize will be two mobile sets and cash amount of Rs 5,000 ( for the pair).
There will also be three special raffle rounds of Rs 10,000.00 (Rs ten thousand), Rs 5,000(Rs five thousand) and Rs 3,000(Rs three thousand) only.
Besides, attractive prizes for participants as well as audience including school students will also be there.
The battle of wits for the top slots will commence with a written test based on multiple choice questions and sixteen teams will be selected on the basis of performance for the quiz rounds on the dais though the audience rounds will also continue simultaneously with prizes for correct answers to questions put by the quiz masters. The daylong mega quiz programme will proceed through the process of elimination to the final round.
After the distribution of prizes among the slot winners the most attractive part of the quiz will begin with the raffle round based on randomly selected questions and as part of this three special prize of Rs 10, 000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 only in cash will be on offer.
The contest is open and anyone can participate.
Those keen to participate in the Mega Quiz will be required to register their names through a printed form available in the tripurainfo.com office at Post Office Chowmuhuni, Agartala at a price of Rs 20 only.
Last date for registration is August 2, 2012 ( Thursday) till 5 pm.
Funds collected through registration fees will be donated to the Chief Minister’s relief fund by the tripurainfo.com authority.
The participants can download forms from internet also but they will have to register names in the office through requisite payment. It has also been made clear that willing participants from mofussil areas will be allowed to send their forms by post but registration of names will be made only upon receipt of the fees of Rs 20 till August 2, the last day of receipt of forms.
