Police, BSF and customs have failed to arrest a single person even after making a huge recovery from Gandhigram on Sunday. It may be mentioned here that On Sunday in between 5 PM to 11 PM acting on a secret information SDPO Sadar, OC Airport PS and staff along with Custom officials and the 6th BN BSF personnel, Bhagalpur conducted raid and search in the house of one Nirmal Shil(42), at Gandhigram, Pashchim Para. During search they recovered and seized 475 bottles phensidyal[100 ml each bottle], Indian Currency Rs.59,60,000/- and Bangladeshi Currency 2,39,200 taka from the house of Nirmal Shil. Accused Nirmal Shil was found absconding. He has not been arrested. The basic question is how Nirmal could have been running his illegal business located within few kilometers of the BSF headquarters at Salbagan. What took BSF so long to act against Nirmal. Will he be nabbed ?
