Altogether 1204 applications have been received from students seeking admission in diploma engineering institutions of the state. Addressing a press meet here today Sekhar Dutta on behalf of the central selection committee of diploma engineering programs hinted that they may also go for common admission test from next year. In TIT, Women’s polytechnic and Ambassa polytechnic there are 515 seats available. From this 25 are reserved for physically challenged candidates. The merit list in all probability will be published by Saturday or Sunday. The marks obtained in Madhyamik will be the criterion for selection.
