Agartala, Jun 11, 2012 : School of Science felicitated to its all achievers in several entrance examinations conducted in2012.
A total of 404 students have succeeded in achieving position in Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics (PCM) group and Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) group. Among them, 4 students cracked IIT-JEE. Sandeep Reang secured first position in IIT-JEE under ST category. He wished to pursue Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Rashmita Deb, the topper of Higher Secondary examination wished to study Electronics and Communication Engineering. The topper of Higher Secondary Examination Rashmita Deb secured tenth position in PCM group while Sreeparna Dey, third rank holder of HS examination got 12th position in PCM group under General category.
Added to it, a total of 26 students of this institute successfully cracked the entrance examination for Tripura Medical College in Hapania. Prasenjit Sarkar bagged first position under SC category. Sudeshna Das bagged second position and Sushmita Das secured position next to her under SC category. In addition, Sagardeep Datta also stood second and Diya Saha got fourth rank under unreserved category. Sreeparna Dey, Rajarshi Sen, Sandeepa Roy Choudhury and other successful candidates gave credit to Abhijit Bhattacharya, principal of school of science for their grand success.
