AICC’s general secretary, in-charge Tripura Luizinho Faleiro addressing a press conference here at Congress Bhavan said, “ LF government in Tripura-of the rich, by the rich and for the rich”.
Releasing a text titled “anarchy and 19 years misrule of Left Front in Tripura”, a charge sheet, Faleiro said, the PCC team met Chief Election Commissioner of India recently and submitted a deputation regarding malpractice by a section of Tripura administration to manipulate electioneering.
“Some officials from CEO to lower class are working against the Election commission’s norms”, said Faleiro.
He alleged that Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Wednesday addressing a election rally at Nalchaar also violated the EC norms by announcing 500 government jobs for various section of society.
‘The high command of AICC has seriously taken up the unemployment of youths and atrocities on women in Tripura’, said Faleiro adding that Congress will launched massive movement across the state within couple of months to oust the LF government.
He also appealed to the youths of the state to come forward without fear and to join Congress to make Tripura as atrocities and corruption free state.
‘All the socio-economic parameters of Tripura are going worst in the country’, said Faleiro adding that state government claims Rs 50,750 is the per capita income and on the other hand they claims that people living below the poverty line is 67.78 percent.
The law and order situation of Tripura, are now worst in the country and women related crimes make Tripura number one in the country, said Faleiro.
He alleged that the anti poor policies of LF government only develop the party cadres and leaders and the condition of poor people are being deteriorating day by day.
Opposition leader Ratanlal Nath said, ‘we presented the true facts and sufferings of Tripura people. Now the LF government should reply the people’.
PCC president Sudip Barman, opposition leader Ratanlal Nath, AICC secretary Jayakumar, Congress leader Samir Ranjan Barman and other MLAs of Congress also present in the press conference.
