Agartala, Jun 10, 2012 : PCC president Sudip Roy Barman and Youth Congress president Sushanta Choudhury narrowly escaped as their cars met with serious accident yesterday at Bairagibazaar area. The accident took place when a lorry in break neck speed hit their car.
The Congress leaders were going for Nalchhar poll campiagn in a convoy. Last two cars belonged to Roy Barman and Choudhury. Both the cars were parked at Bairagi bazaar Congress office when a lorry carrying sand ran down on Choudhury's car. The impac was so severe that Choudhury's car then banged on Roy Barman's car parked in its front.
Congress leaders later smelled a rat in the accident. They claimed that it could be part of CPM conspiracy.
Some protests were also made in Agartala.
