Agartala, Jun 08, 2012 : Ruling CPM strongly condemned the opposition Congress’s charge sheet” on the 19 years rule of the left Front in Tripura.
Addressing a press conference CPM’s general secretary Bijan Dhar here at party state secretariat office said, “the Left Front have charge sheet against UPA’s disinvestment policy, massive corruption, strategic alliance with imperialistic USA and anti poor and anti-people policies”.
The central leadership of Congress and TPCC leaders should first reply to the L F charge-sheet, said Dhar.
He said, AICC’s general secretary, in-charge of Tripura, Luizinho Faleiro and other state leader’s so called ‘charge-sheet’ is total false and fabrication of the actual facts.
He said, “it’s a political conspiracy against the peace loving people and government of Tripura”.
He alleged that, Congress is a party for terrorists and they always encourage the underground elements to de-stabilize CPM government in Tripura and to destroy peaceful environment of the state.
During Congress-TUJS regime, hundreds of our party workers and leaders were killed by them and their associate-militants groups, said Dhar.
CPM’s spokesman Goutam Das said that the election agent of CPM candidate Tapan Das for Nalchhar by-election, Narayan Debnath has been threatened with murder and dire consequences by a Congress worker Jahar Sutradhar of Bardowali area of Agartala. We filed an FIR and lodged complain before state election commission, said Das.
Highlighting the developmental activities of Tripura government during the last 29 years rule by LF, Das said, “Tripura’s achievement in developmental works and declining insurgency are recognized by Union government through various events”.
“The peace loving people of Tripura will definitely defeat the pro-insurgent Congress in Nalchhar by-election”, said Das.
