Agartala, Jun 06, 2012 : Tripura cabinet decided to recruit 500 differently able educated youths in the government jobs.
Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Tuesday here at Civil Secretariat said, the cabinet approved the recruitment of physically disable youths in different departments.
He said, visually impaired persons will recruited to 205 posts while physically challenged persons will be recruited in 203 posts and hearing impaired persons will be taken for 92 posts.
Tripura government employees will now get seven days' paid paternity leave.
‘In order to provide all kinds of support to their pregnant wives, all Tripura men employees will get seven days' paternity leave from now onwards’, said Chief Minister Manik.
The leave facility would be applicable for the employee's first two children. Earlier this year, the state government increased the paid maternity leave for pregnant working women from three to six months.
