tripurainfo.com's exit poll comes true, LF set for return

Agartala, Feb 28, 2013 : Tripura's highest-accessed website tripurainfo.com's exit poll , results of which were uploaded on February 25, on the final outcome of the February 14 assembly election has come true with the ruling Left Front emerging on top with altogether 50 seats in its kitty. The opposition Congress is all set for a massive drubbing with only 10 seats. After the results of tripurainfo.com's exit poll had been announced on February 25 the opposition Congress and a section of its lackeys in the media cried foul and hurled invectives at the website but the authenticity of the exit poll started coming true from the commencement of counting at 8-00 in the morning today. 

tripurainfo.com had forecast the return of the left front with the range of seats varying between 42 at the lowest limit and 52 at the highest limit. As things stand in the counting halls the left front's tally is likely to reach 50 itself . Among the results declared, leader of the opposition Ratanlal Nath has come out winners by the narrow margin of 775 votes after two consecutive recounting of ballots-in the first counting Nath had lost the seat. Among the stalwarts chief minister Manik Sarkar has established a near unbeatable lead while finance minister Badal Chowdhury , forest minister Jiten Chowdhury and minister for school education Tapan Chakraborty have almost achieved victories by huge margins while the minister for higher education and veteran leader Anil Sarkar is leading by a narrow margin in Pratapgarh assembly constituency. The minister for tribal welfare Aghore Debbarma has won from the Marxist stronghold Asharambari constituency in Khowai subdivision by more than seven thousand votes.
