Agartala, Feb 23, 2013 : Factual reports of enquiries into allegations of post-poll violence in different parts of the state would be submitted to the state election department starting from Saturday, Chief Electoral Officer Ashutosh Jindal said on Friday. Several complaints of post-poll violence were filed by political parties in different parts of the state including Karbuk, Khayerpur, Bishalgarh, Mandwi etc. The allegatiosn include the murder of one Kharendra Reang at Karbuk area few days back. Kharendra was killed by few black masked assailants while he was enjoying his share of booze at the household of one of his neighbours. The assailants also robbed him of Rs. 25,000 - money derived from sale of a swine on the fateful evening. Congress alleged the incident to be a political murder, deliberately carried out by ruling party cadres. The election department had asked concerned police officials to submit factual report on the issue.
