A former statement made by Dr Ganchoudhury said, the workshop will be managed by the United States energy Association (USEA) in collaboration with East African Community (EAC) under financial support of US AID programme.
Several east African countries like Burundi, Kenya, Ruanda, Uganda and Tanzania’s delegates will participate in the conference at Arusha in Dar es Salaam, capital city of Tanzania.
Dr Ganchoudhury will deliver his key note address on ‘moving towards a low emissions power sector’ and ‘global experiences in clean energy development’ in the conference.
It may be recalled here that Dr Ganchoudhury is the chairman of science and technology centre ‘Arkaneer’ and Arka-IGNOU community college.
Dr Ganchoudhury will leave Kolkata on July 14 for Dar es Salaam.
